About the Role

We are looking for an energetic and responsible Event Manager to plan, coordinate and execute health, wellness and awareness events for senior citizens.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable coordinating with doctors, speakers, sponsors, vendors, volunteers and participants, while ensuring that every event runs smoothly from planning to completion.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and execute seminars, health camps, awareness programs and senior citizen events.
- Coordinate with doctors, speakers, guests, sponsors and partner organizations.
- Manage event schedules, venues, vendors, equipment and logistics.
- Handle registrations, participant coordination and on-ground arrangements.
- Coordinate with the internal content, video and social media teams for event promotion.
- Manage event budgets and vendor negotiations.
- Ensure smooth execution on the event day.
- Handle post-event follow-ups, feedback and reports.
- Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, corporates, senior citizen associations and other organisations.
- Identify opportunities for recent events, partnerships and sponsorships.

Requirements




- 2–5 years of experience in event management, event coordination or a related field.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Good organisational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously.
- Comfortable working with senior citizens, doctors and corporate partners.
- Willingness to travel within Chennai for events.
- Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace.
- Tamil and English communication skills are preferred.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence would be an advantage.

Location: T. Nagar, Chennai Salary: ₹30,000 per month
