Role & responsibilities:

- Assess damage to bus bodies and provide repair estimates.
- Repair and replace damaged panels, doors, bumpers, and fenders.
- Straighten bent frames using hydraulic/frame machines.
- Sand, buff, prime, and refinish repaired areas.
- Match and blend paint to original vehicle color.
- Install and align windshields, windows, and other glass components.
- Perform welding and fabrication to restore structural integrity.
- Ensure all repairs meet industry safety and quality standards.

Skills & Qualifications

- Certification in auto body repair or vocational training in collision repair.
- Proficiency in welding (MIG, TIG, spot welding) and use of diagnostic tools.
- Strong craftsmanship, attention to detail, and physical stamina.
- Ability to work independently or in teams, often in noisy and demanding environments.
- Knowledge of modern materials (aluminum, carbon fiber, highstrength steel).

Work Workplace

- Workshop/garage setting with exposure to chemicals, paints, and welding equipment.
- Requires PPE and adherence to OSHA/industry safety standards.
- Collaboration with service advisors and other technicians for efficient workflow.
