ABOUT SHOWRIDER

Showrider Entertainment is a Kerala-based premium event production and experiential marketing company, founded in 2013. We design and deliver corporate events, MICE, college fests, concerts, festivals, sports events and brand activations across South India and major metro cities for clients including UST, TVS, Canara Bank, Vi, Geojit and Edimannickal Jewellers.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a sharp, hands-on Event Coordinator who can take an event from brief to wrap-up. You will own the on-ground execution of our projects, coordinate between clients, vendors and the internal team, and make sure every event runs on time, on budget and to Showrider's standard. This role suits someone who stays calm under pressure, thinks on their feet and treats every event as their own.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Event planning & execution: Coordinate end-to-end execution of events, from pre-production planning and site recces to setup, show-day management and dismantling.
- Client coordination: Act as a day-to-day point of contact for clients, understand their requirements, share updates and handle changes professionally.
- Vendor management: Source, brief and coordinate vendors for fabrication, sound, light, LED, AV, décor, catering, logistics, printing and talent; follow up on quotes, timelines and deliverables.
- Team leadership: Lead and brief on-ground crew, freelancers and volunteers; assign roles and make sure everyone knows the plan.
- Timelines & documentation: Prepare and track production schedules, run-of-show, checklists, cue sheets and call sheets.
- Budget tracking: Monitor event costs against approved budgets and flag deviations early.
- Problem solving:



Anticipate risks, handle last-minute changes and resolve on-site issues quickly without compromising the experience.
- Quality & compliance: Ensure setups meet brand, safety and venue guidelines, and coordinate permissions where required.
- Post-event closure: Handle vendor settlements, dismantling, inventory return, client feedback and internal event reports.
- Internal coordination: Work closely with the sales, creative, marketing and production teams to align on deliverables.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- Experience: 1–2 years in event management, event production, experiential marketing or the media industry.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication; confident dealing with clients and vendors.
- Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple events, deadlines and stakeholders at the same time.
- Leadership: Ability to lead teams on-ground and keep them aligned and motivated.
- Ownership: Takes full responsibility for outcomes and follows through without constant supervision.
- Client & vendor management: Proven ability to build working relationships, negotiate and follow up.
- Problem solving: Quick decision-making and a practical approach under pressure.
- Tools: Working knowledge of MS Office / Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel and work extended hours, weekends and event days as required.
