Position Description

We are seeking an experienced ETL Informatica Developer Lead with 8 to 10 years of expertise in designing, building, and optimizing enterprise data solutions for a leading banking client. In this role, you will lead the architecture, execution, and continuous maintenance of critical data integration pipelines while driving data warehousing strategy and guiding a team of data engineers.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Technical Leadership: Lead the end-to-end architecture, development, and maintenance of scalable ETL pipelines, data extraction, and transformation processes using Informatica PowerCenter/IICS.

Data Warehousing & Architecture: Design and optimize enterprise data warehouse schemas, data marts, and historical data repositories tailored for complex banking transactional data.

Pipeline Management: Monitor, tune, and maintain existing ETL jobs to ensure high performance, reliability, and data accuracy across mission-critical systems.

Technical Governance: Enforce data governance, regulatory compliance, and security standards essential for banking data environments.

Team Guidance: Mentor junior/mid-level developers, conduct code reviews, and collaborate with enterprise architects, business analysts, and QA teams.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

8–10 years of hands-on experience in ETL pipeline development with primary expertise in Informatica tools (PowerCenter / Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services).

Robust domain background in Banking, Financial Services, or Fintech (handling transaction data, financial reporting, risk, or compliance systems).

Deep understanding of Data Warehousing concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema,



Dimensional Modeling, SCD Type 1/2).

Advanced proficiency in SQL writing, performance tuning, and database management (Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, or Snowflake).

Familiarity with Unix/Linux shell scripting for ETL automation and job scheduling tools (AutoSys, Control-M, or Airflow).

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and team leadership capabilities.
