About the Job

NexaQuanta is seeking an experienced ETL Developer / Integration Engineer to support a strategic migration programme, moving a large portfolio of ETL processes from SSIS, SQL, and PowerShell to SnapLogic.

This is a hands-on delivery role focused on rebuilding data integrations, improving data quality controls, strengthening error handling, and helping establish scalable integration standards. The role has minimal client-facing responsibility and is best suited to a strong technical practitioner who enjoys solving complex data challenges and delivering reliable ETL solutions.

Responsibilities

- Accelerate the migration of legacy ETL processes into SnapLogic, ensuring minimal disruption to existing data flows
- Design, build, and maintain reliable, scalable, and reusable integration pipelines across multiple source systems
- Introduce robust data quality checkpoints, validation rules, and reconciliation processes throughout the migration
- Improve logging, monitoring, and alerting to support faster issue detection and troubleshooting
- Strengthen error handling and exception management across integration workflows
- Help document and standardise ETL processes, coding conventions, and best practices for the wider team
- Support the wider ETL team through knowledge sharing, peer reviews, and technical leadership
- Rebuild and optimise existing SSIS and SQL-based data integrations for performance and long-term reliability
- Collaborate with technical stakeholders to establish scalable, future-proof integration standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex data integration issues independently, with minimal supervision
- Conduct performance tuning of ETL jobs and SQL queries to reduce processing time and resource usage
- Contribute to data modelling and architecture decisions to support the broader migration programme




- Work closely with the project team to track progress, flag risks, and ensure migration milestones are met

Requirements Essential Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in ETL Development, with strong, demonstrable SnapLogic expertise
- Solid SQL development skills, including query optimisation and performance tuning
- Solid experience working with SSIS-based ETL pipelines
- Strong PowerShell scripting experience for automation and process control
- Proven data integration and data warehouse experience across multiple source systems
- Good understanding of data modelling concepts and principles
- Strong grounding in ETL architecture, design, and industry best practices
- Practical knowledge of data quality, validation, and reconciliation techniques
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with performance optimisation

Nice to Have

- Experience with the Azure Data Platform, including Azure Data Factory and Azure SQL
- Understanding of data governance and compliance requirements
- Prior experience migrating legacy ETL solutions to modern integration platforms
