Key Responsibilities

- Understand customer requirements through client discussions and site visits.
- Analyze technical requirements and prepare technical proposals and costing.
- Develop appropriate engineering solutions based on customer requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers to obtain technical and commercial information.
- Build and maintain a reliable supplier/vendor database.
- Prepare accurate proposals with complete technical and commercial information.
- Ensure first-time-right proposals, minimizing errors and revisions.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to collect required inputs.
- Ensure proposals are submitted within agreed timelines, preferably within 48 hours where applicable.
- Follow up on proposal requirements and clarify technical queries.
- Support continuous improvement in proposal accuracy, speed, and quality.
- Maintain proper documentation and records of proposals, costing, and supplier inputs.

Candidate Profile We are looking for candidates with:
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in proposal engineering, costing, estimation, technical sales support, or a similar engineering role.
- Engineering background; Mechanical Engineering candidates are preferred.
- Strong understanding of technical proposals, estimation, costing, and commercial calculations.
- Strong Excel skills and good working knowledge of MS Office.
- Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to listen carefully and understand customer requirements.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

What You'll Work On The role involves working on industrial turnkey projects, understanding customer needs, developing engineering solutions, preparing proposals and costing, and coordinating with suppliers and stakeholders.

Key Performance Expectations

- Proposal accuracy target: 80%+
- On-time proposal submission: 90%+ within 2 days
- Solid focus on accuracy, speed and first-time-right submissions
- Continuous improvement in proposal quality and turnaround time
