Position Summary The ERP Systems Administrator / Technical Specialist is a hybrid role that combines system administration with technical expertise in ERP systems. This position supports users across all departments, ensures system stability, and provides technical support in areas such as issue analysis, reporting, and process optimization. The role also acts as a key backup to the ERP team.
Essential Functions:
Backup to the ERP Director & Other Team Specialists
- Act as the primary backup to the ERP Director & other Technical Specialists for technical oversight and support.
System Knowledge & Maintenance
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the ERP system's database structure, workflows, and processes.
- Understand how ERP systems support business processes across various departments and ensure system configurations meet business needs.
Troubleshooting & Technical Support
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical system and user issues across departments, ensuring timely resolution and minimal business disruption.
- Provide expert-level support to Department Heads and Super Users for technical inquiries.
Advanced Reporting
- Act as the Advanced Report Writer, developing custom reports based on requests submitted via the Help Desk. Ensure the reports are accurate, actionable, and aligned with business needs.
User Training & Resources
- Provide guidance, training, and technical assistance to end-users, including Department Heads, Super Users, and other staff, as needed.
Other Duties
- Perform other duties and special projects assigned by the ERP Director or senior leadership.
Qualifications Required
- 2-3 years' technical experience with ERP systems and data management.
- Competent and comfortable working with computers, using Excel at an intermediate to advanced level, and equivalent programs.
- Strong email management skills,
including responding to emails in a timely manner and maintaining an organized mailbox.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and processes.
- Intermediate to advanced level understanding of report writing.
