Role & responsibilities

- Conduct detailed research on automotive and auto-component companies and track industry trends.

- Analyze company financial statements, business performance, earnings, margins and growth prospects.

- Build and maintain financial models, forecasts and valuation models.

- Prepare equity research reports, sector updates, earnings notes and investment presentations.

- Track competitors, market developments, regulations, technology trends and key industry drivers.

- Develop investment views and communicate key insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

- Interact with company management, industry experts and other market participants as required.

Preferred candidate profile

- 7+ years of experience in Equity Research / Investment Research / Financial Research.





- Solid experience covering the Automotive and/or Auto Components sector.

- Excellent understanding of financial analysis and financial modelling.

- Hands-on experience with company valuation such as DCF, P/E, EV/EBITDA and comparable company analysis.

- Strong knowledge of financial statements, earnings analysis and industry research.

- Excellent Excel, PowerPoint and research/report-writing skills.

- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Experience interacting with senior management, investors or market participants.
