Enterprise / Data Engineer

Hands-on senior engineer who can quickly inspect the current estate, trace how data moves across systems, identify what is affected by FY27 changes and start implementing the changes that are already clear.

What we need them to do:

trace data and field flows across enterprise applications, integrations, Snowflake and reporting inspect existing mappings, APIs, SQL models, YAML configurations and downstream dependencies identify which assets are unaffected,



which need simple changes and which need deeper engineering implement straightforward changes without waiting for the full transition backlog to be finalized support hierarchy and reference-data changes, source mappings, SQL transformations and historical-data updates help identify impacts on Power BI and AI applications work with application owners and business SMEs where the technical requirement depends on business meaning support reconciliation and regression testing as changes move through the stack document source-to-target mappings and important dependencies as they are discovered

Expected background

6-10+ years in data engineering, enterprise integration or application/data engineering strong hands-on SQL and data-modeling skills experience working across source applications rather than only inside a warehouse valuable understanding of APIs, integration mappings, ETL/ELT and reference/master data comfortable troubleshooting end-to-end data issues across multiple systems able to work in an environment where requirements arrive progressively and are not fully documented upfront

Best fit

A senior data engineer with broader enterprise-system exposure, rather than someone who has only built isolated Snowflake pipelines. They should be comfortable following a business field from Salesforce or another source system through an integration, into Snowflake and finally into a report or downstream application.
