About the Role:

ChAISE runs a growing stack of enterprise AI platforms - Google Cloud, Google Gemini Enterprise, and Anthropic Claude - across the university and its solution projects.

We are looking for an Enterprise AI Platform Specialist to own that stack end-to-end: standing it up, securing it, integrating it with our systems, keeping it running, and getting real people to actually use it well.

This is a platform and solutions role, not a research or model-building role. You will not be training models from scratch - you will be the person who makes hosted AI dependable, governed, and adopted at institutional scale.

You should be genuinely hands-on with at least one major cloud and one enterprise GenAI platform today, and hungry to go deep on all three.

What You'll Do:

- Own platform deployment and administration. Provision, configure, and administer Google Cloud (Vertex AI, IAM, projects, billing, networking), Gemini Enterprise / Gemini for Workspace, and Anthropic Claude (Claude Enterprise / Team, the API, and Claude for Education). You are the admin of record.
- Run identity, access, and governance. Set up SSO/SAML, role-based access, data-residency and DLP controls, and audit logging so that faculty, staff, and students get the right access with the right guardrails.
- Integrate AI into our systems. Connect these platforms to institutional tooling - Google Workspace, the LMS/SIS, internal knowledge bases - building connectors, grounding models on institutional data, and wiring up API-level integrations.
- Manage licenses and cost.



Own license allocation and the spend model across all three vendors. Track usage, forecast, right-size, and flag waste before it shows up on an invoice.
- Drive adoption and enablement. Onboard and train non-technical users, build prompt libraries and playbooks, write clear internal docs, and move real adoption and usage metrics - not just seat counts.
- Benchmark and advise. Run structured, hands-on comparisons across Gemini and Claude (and others) for specific use cases, and give ChAISE a transparent, evidence-based read on which platform fits which problem.
- Keep it reliable. Monitor health and quotas, troubleshoot incidents, act as the escalation point with Google and Anthropic support, and own the fixes.

What You'll Bring: Must-have

- 4-5 years in cloud, platform, solutions engineering, or enterprise IT, with meaningful hands-on ownership - not just ticket-closing.
- Hands-on Google Cloud experience - Vertex AI, IAM, project/org structure, billing, and networking basics. You can stand up and secure a project without hand-holding.
- Direct experience deploying or administering at least one enterprise GenAI platform - Gemini Enterprise / Gemini for Workspace, Claude Enterprise / Team,



and the ability and appetite to get deep on all three in our stack.
- Working knowledge of Anthropic Claude - the API, Claude Enterprise / Claude for Education, prompt engineering, and ideally MCP (Model Context Protocol).
- Identity and access fundamentals - SSO/SAML/OIDC, plus Google Workspace admin (or an equivalent enterprise directory / admin console).
- Scripting and automation - comfortable in Python (or equivalent) and working directly with REST APIs to glue systems together.
- Data governance and security basics - DLP, data residency, PII handling, and role-based access, applied in a real deployment.
- A clear communicator who can train non-technical people, run a session without losing the room, and write documentation others can actually follow.
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, or a related field - or equivalent demonstrable experience.

Nice-to-have:

- Google Cloud certification - Associate Cloud Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect, or Professional Machine Learning Engineer.
- Google Workspace / Gemini administration certification.
- Experience with Claude for Education or any institutional / large-org LLM rollout (1,000+ users).
- LMS or SIS integration experience - Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, or similar.
- RAG or grounding on enterprise data, and hands-on with a vector store.
- Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and FinOps / cloud cost-optimization practice.
- Education-tech or public-sector deployment context, and familiarity with Indian data-handling expectations.
