Experience: 5– 8 Years’ experience (Senior Level)

:

- Good knowledge in Cadence Palladium flows
- Post Silicon debug experience
- Reproduction of Si issues on palladium
- Running/ porting SW tests on palladium
- Peripheral (uart, spi, i2c etc) protocol and debug knowledge
- Writing C test cases
- Writing tests cases in post Si bench (mostly Py controlled)

Role Description The Emulation Consultant is a full-time hybrid role based in Bengaluru, with flexibility for partial work from home. In this position, the consultant will design, implement, and optimize emulation environments for complex semiconductor designs, collaborating with design, verification, and software teams to ensure accurate and efficient hardware-software validation. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting up and maintaining emulation platforms, creating and refining test benches and scripts, analyzing emulation results, and providing recommendations to improve performance, coverage, and reliability. The role involves troubleshooting emulation issues, documenting workflows and best practices,



and supporting project teams in meeting delivery timelines for global customers. The consultant will also contribute to continuous improvement by evaluating new emulation tools, methodologies, and automation opportunities.

Qualifications

- Robust foundation in semiconductor design and verification, including experience with RTL, SoC architectures, and hardware-software co-verification.
- Hands-on experience with emulation platforms and tools (e.g., hardware emulators, FPGA-based prototyping, relevant EDA tools) and associated workflows.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming for automation and test development (such as Python, Shell scripting, or C/C++), with ability to analyze logs and debug complex issues.
- Knowledge of embedded systems, AI/ML, IoT, or networking domains and their interaction with underlying silicon is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills; ability to translate technical findings into clear recommendations.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional, global teams in a hybrid work environment.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in semiconductor services or product companies, and familiarity with outcome-driven, customer-focused project delivery, is beneficial.
