Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and responsible HOD – Electrical to lead the electrical maintenance and engineering division at our manufacturing plant in Raipur. The ideal candidate must have a solid track record of over 10 years in managing plant-level electrical breakdowns, managing high-voltage equipment, and leading a team of engineers and technicians. You will be completely responsible for minimizing electrical downtime and ensuring smooth, safe plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Plant Electrical Maintenance: Plan and execute breakdown, preventive, and predictive electrical maintenance for all plant machinery, furnaces, automation panels, and utilities.
- Substation & HT/LT Handling: Supervise the operation and upkeep of High Tension (HT) / Low Tension (LT) power distribution systems, transformers, switchgears, and VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives).
- Team Leadership & Workforce Handling: Manage, guide, and schedule shifts for a team of electrical engineers, supervisors, and electricians.



Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols on the floor.
- Power Optimization & Audits: Monitor daily energy/power consumption metrics, identify power-loss leakage points, and implement cost-saving electrical modifications.
- Vendor & Liaison Coordination: Coordinate with external electrical vendors, contractors, and local state electricity board authorities for power sanctions or major statutory maintenance.
- Inventory Control: Manage the inventory of critical electrical spares, consumables, and testing instruments to ensure zero production delays due to part shortage.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

- Education: B.Tech / B.E. or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- Experience (Mandatory): Minimum 10 years of core industrial experience in a manufacturing plant, heavy engineering unit, foundry, or steel plant setup.
- Technical Mastery:
- Deep practical knowledge of PLCs, AC/DC drives, motors, control wiring, and industrial automation.
- Strong trouble-shooting speed during critical power failures or automated panel trips.
- Exceptional understanding of industrial electrical safety regulations and earthing systems.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
