1. Job Purpose

To plan, execute, supervise, and coordinate all electrical works related to interior and retail fit-out projects, ensuring that installations are completed safely, on time, within budget, and as per approved drawings and specifications.
1. Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

- Plan and execute electrical works for commercial interiors, retail stores, offices, showrooms, and factory projects.
- Study electrical drawings, layouts, BOQ, specifications, and project requirements.
- Coordinate electrical activities with civil, interior, HVAC, fire-fighting, and other services.
- Ensure electrical works are completed according to the project schedule.

Electrical Installation

- Supervise installation of lighting, power points, DBs, cables, conduits, switches, sockets, and other electrical systems.
- Handle electrical wiring, cable laying, termination, testing, and commissioning.
- Coordinate installation of lighting fixtures, signage power supplies, and equipment connections.
- Ensure proper earthing and electrical safety arrangements.

Site Supervision

- Monitor electricians, technicians, subcontractors, and electrical vendors at the site.
- Check workmanship and ensure installations comply with approved drawings and standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify electrical issues or deviations.
- Ensure proper material usage and minimize wastage.

Drawings & Documentation

- Read and interpret electrical drawings and layouts.
- Coordinate with the design/technical team for drawing revisions and site requirements.




- Prepare material requirements, measurement sheets, checklists, and site reports.
- Maintain records of electrical installations, testing, and commissioning.

Material & Cost Control

- Prepare electrical material requirements based on BOQ and drawings.
- Coordinate with Purchase and Stores for timely availability of materials.
- Verify material specifications and quantities received at site.
- Control material wastage and ensure economical utilization.

Testing & Quality

- Inspect electrical installations before energizing.
- Conduct or coordinate testing of cables, circuits, DBs, lighting, and power systems.
- Rectify defects and ensure proper functioning of electrical systems.
- Ensure work meets applicable electrical standards and project specifications.

Safety & Compliance

- Follow electrical safety procedures and company/site safety rules.
- Ensure proper PPE is used by electrical workers.
- Identify electrical hazards and take corrective action.
- Ensure safe isolation, testing, and energization procedures are followed.

Coordination

- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Designers, Production, Purchase, Stores, contractors, consultants, and clients.
- Attend site meetings and provide updates on electrical work progress.
- Coordinate electrical requirements with other project activities to avoid delays.

- Good knowledge of electrical installation and maintenance.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and layouts.
- Knowledge of lighting and power distribution systems.
- Knowledge of DBs, MCBs, MCCBs, cables, conduits, earthing, and electrical accessories.
- Knowledge of testing and commissioning procedures.
- Positive site supervision and coordination skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- AutoCAD knowledge will be an advantage.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple project activities and meet deadlines.

1. Qualification

Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Experience: 2–6 years of relevant experience in electrical projects, commercial interiors, retail fit-outs, construction, or related industries.

- Customer/consultant satisfaction.

1. Preferred Candidate Profile

The candidate should be technically strong, responsible, and comfortable working at project sites. Experience in commercial interiors, retail fit-outs, showrooms, offices, or turnkey projects will be preferred. The candidate should be willing to coordinate with workers, subcontractors, vendors, and other project teams to ensure smooth project execution. Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
