- Array Layout Design: Create detailed roof-mount and ground-mount solar or sensor array layouts using AutoCAD.
- Structure & Racking Integration: Select appropriate mounting and racking structures based on site surveys, wind loads, and terrain or roof types.
- Electrical Sizing & Schematics: Develop single-line diagrams (SLDs), cable sizing, conduit routing, and protection system layouts.
- Simulation & Analysis: Perform shadow analysis, system sizing, and performance modeling using tools like PVsyst.
- Documentation: Generate bills of materials (BOM), equipment specification sheets, and cable schedules. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Key Skills & Requirements
- Experience: 4 to 5 years in electrical and layout design, specifically within solar EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) or hardware engineering fields.
