Job Summary

We are looking for an Electrical & Instrumentation Designer to prepare detailed electrical and instrumentation drawings, layouts, and technical documentation for industrial/EPC projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare electrical and instrumentation design drawings as per project requirements.
- Develop electrical layouts, cable tray layouts, lighting layouts, equipment layouts, and wiring diagrams.
- Prepare instrumentation layouts, instrument hook-ups, cable schedules, and related drawings.
- Prepare and update single-line diagrams (SLD), schematic diagrams, and termination drawings.
- Develop cable schedules, instrument schedules, and material take-offs.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Coordinate with process, mechanical, piping, civil, and other engineering disciplines.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Electrical & Instrumentation design and drafting.




- Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant engineering design software.
- Knowledge of electrical layouts, cable trays, wiring, and equipment drawings.
- Knowledge of instrumentation layouts, hook-ups, cable schedules, and instrument drawings.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Good understanding of industrial/EPC project workflows.
- Knowledge of EPLAN, SmartPlant, AVEVA or similar software will be an advantage.
- Positive coordination and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Education

- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics & Instrumentation, Instrumentation, or a relevant engineering discipline.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in EPC, Oil & Gas, Industrial, Power, or Process projects.
- Experience preparing electrical and instrumentation construction drawings.
- Exposure to multidisciplinary engineering coordination.
