Department: Tool Room

Reporting To: HOD – Tool Room

Qualification: Diploma (Mechanical) / ITI

Skills & Experience

- Hands-on experience in operating EDM machines.
- Basic knowledge of Vernier Caliper, Height Gauge, and other measuring instruments.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of electrode setting/dialling and EDM machining parameters.

Key Responsibilities

- Read drawings and understand machining requirements.
- Check job/workpiece dimensions as per drawing.
- Perform electrode setting, dialling, and material selection.
- Carry out profile EDM machining as per required contour and accuracy.
- Load programs and enter parameters manually when required.
- Operate and monitor the EDM machine safely.
- Maintain machine, workplace, and 5S standards.
- Follow quality, health, and safety requirements.
- Report machine/process abnormalities to the HOD.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
