Job Overview A reputed Multi-Speciality Hospital in Ankleshwar is looking for a skilled and responsible ECG Technician to join its clinical team.

The candidate will be responsible for performing ECG and other cardiac diagnostic procedures, ensuring accurate recordings, maintaining equipment and supporting doctors and clinical teams in the diagnosis and monitoring of patients.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform 12-lead ECGs accurately for inpatients, outpatients and emergency patients.
- Prepare patients appropriately and explain the ECG procedure to them.
- Correctly position ECG electrodes and ensure good-quality recordings.
- Identify and troubleshoot common artefacts or technical issues during ECG recording.
- Perform ECGs as requested by doctors and clinical departments.
- Assist with TMT/Stress Test and Holter monitoring, where applicable.
- Ensure ECG reports/recordings are correctly labelled and associated with the appropriate patient.
- Maintain proper documentation and records of investigations performed.
- Ensure ECG machines and related equipment are clean, functional and properly maintained.
- Perform routine checks of ECG equipment, leads, cables and accessories.
- Report equipment malfunction or technical issues promptly.
- Follow hospital protocols for infection prevention, patient safety and equipment disinfection.
- Maintain patient privacy, confidentiality and professional conduct at all times.
- Coordinate with cardiologists,



physicians, nurses and other hospital departments.
- Assist in emergency ECG procedures when required.
- Ensure timely completion and dispatch of ECG reports/records as per hospital procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma / B.Sc. in ECG Technology, Cardiac Care Technology or equivalent qualification.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in a hospital or diagnostic centre.
- Good practical knowledge of 12-lead ECG recording and electrode placement.
- Knowledge of basic cardiac anatomy and physiology.
- Familiarity with ECG machines and troubleshooting of common technical issues.
- Exposure to TMT and Holter monitoring will be an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in emergency and high-pressure situations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient-friendly and professional approach.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, including emergency duties when required.
