Role PurposeOwn the overall business performance of assigned brands across Amazon, Flipkart and other marketplaces, while coordinating with vendors, marketplace, procurement, warehouse and finance teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Own sales, margin and growth targets for assigned brands.
- Manage day-to-day relationship with brand/vendor partners.
- Prepare sales forecasts and coordinate purchase and replenishment.
- Monitor inventory, stock-outs and ageing.
- Coordinate with Marketplace team on pricing, promotions, listings, advertising and marketplace issues.
- Coordinate with Warehouse on inventory, dispatch, returns and operational issues.
- Track marketplace settlements, claims, discounts and other commercial issues with Finance.
- Identify problems and drive them to resolution, rather than simply escalating them.
- Prepare weekly/monthly brand performance reports and action plans.
- Ensure smooth execution during major marketplace events and peak seasons.
Ideal Candidate
- 1–7 years' experience in e-commerce / marketplace / category management
- Hands-on understanding of Amazon and Flipkart
- Solid analytical and Excel skills
- Good vendor management and negotiation skills
- Strong ownership, follow-up and problem-solving ability
- Ability to coordinate effectively across Marketplace, Procurement, Warehouse and Finance
