What awaits you/ Job Profile

- Develop and integrate Door Systems for BMW/MINI vehicle projects.
- Own component development from concept through release.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams and suppliers.
- Support vehicle integration, validation, and issue resolution activities.
- Ensure achievement of quality, cost, timing, and functional targets.
- Contribute to the successful delivery of the MINI Revo program.
- Gain exposure to BMW Group development methodologies and product engineering processes.

What should you bring along

- 5-8 years of experience in Automotive Body Engineering with focus on Door/Closure Systems.
- Strong CATIA V5 skills and hands-on design experience.
- Good understanding of automotive product development lifecycle.
- Knowledge of BMW/OEM development processes and engineering releases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.




- Passion for automotive engineering and continuous learning.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or related field.
- Good English communication skills; German is an advantage.

Must have technical skill

- Door System / Closure System development experience.
- BIW Door design and component creation.
- BMW/OEM template methodology knowledge.
- Vehicle packaging and door aggregate integration know-how.
- CATIA V5 proficiency.
- GD&T; and tolerance management.
- DFMEA and engineering change management.
- Knowledge of testing requirements, validation, and countermeasure implementation.
- Supplier coordination and technical issue management.

Valuable to have Technical skills

- Experience with BMW projects or global OEM programs.
- Knowledge of PLM/PDM tools and release processes.
- Exposure to complete vehicle integration activities.
- Understanding of DFM/DFA and cost optimization.
- Experience in field issue resolution and lessons-learned implementation.
- Exposure to lightweight design concepts and automotive materials.
- Basic knowledge of virtual validation and digital development processes
