Job Overview We are looking for a hands-on DOP / Videographer with 5-7 years of experience in video production, cinematography or a closely related role, preferably within beauty, personal care, lifestyle, D2C or other visually led consumer businesses. The ideal candidate should have a strong portfolio demonstrating personal expertise in camera operation, lighting, product, people and short-form content. Strong understanding of exposure, lenses, visual continuity and on-set technical workflows is essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Translating approved shot lists and scene intent into camera, lens, movement, lighting and exposure choices.
- Preparing, testing and operating cameras, lenses, lighting, grip, media and monitoring equipment before and during shoots.
- Maintaining accurate exposure, colour temperature, focus, framing and image quality across product, people and detail shots.
- Capturing master shots, close-ups, inserts, cutaways and alternate takes to provide complete coverage for editing.
- Protecting visual continuity by maintaining consistent framing, lens choice, lighting and camera movement across takes.
- Identifying and resolving technical issues related to focus, reflections, flicker, colour,



exposure and image quality before the set wraps.
- Recording relevant setup, lens, lighting and take information to support continuity and post-production requirements.
- Completing organised media handover with verified transfers and clear technical notes on selects, issues or missing coverage.
- Collaborating with the Video Director, Production Coordinator, Scriptwriter and Video Editor to deliver technically reliable footage.
- Maintaining equipment, media, power and production readiness throughout the shoot workflow.

REQUIREMENTS

- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in videography, cinematography, DOP or video production.
- Experience in beauty, skincare, personal care, lifestyle, fashion, D2C or another visually led consumer category is preferred.
- Strong reel or portfolio demonstrating personal camera and lighting contribution across product, people and short-form content.
- Strong practical knowledge of professional camera settings, lenses, lighting modifiers, exposure tools and monitoring equipment.
- Ability to independently manage exposure, white balance, focus, framing and image quality during shoots.
- Experience lighting skin, reflective packaging, textures and small products while maintaining accurate colour and visual clarity.
- Strong understanding of coverage, continuity, camera movement and technical requirements for editing.




- Ability to identify potential technical issues and resolve them efficiently in a live production environment.
- Strong set discipline, equipment-handling skills, time management and calm problem-solving ability.
- Valuable collaboration skills with Creative, Production and Post-Production teams.
- Graduate qualification in any discipline; relevant technical or filmmaking qualifications will be an advantage.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period are preferred.
