Role Description The DME Specialists (AR & Intake) role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Mohali district. In this role, the specialist manages the intake of DME orders, verifies patient and insurance information, and ensures all required documentation is complete and compliant with payer policies. Daily responsibilities include reviewing and entering DME charges, following up on accounts receivable, resolving claim denials, and coordinating with insurers to secure timely reimbursements.

The specialist communicates with healthcare providers, patients, and internal teams to clarify documentation, address billing issues,



and maintain accurate records. The role also involves monitoring claim status, identifying trends in payment delays or denials, and supporting process improvements that enhance revenue cycle efficiency.

Qualifications:

- Strong analytical skills to review claims, identify discrepancies, and interpret payer policies.
- Clear and qualified communication skills for interacting with providers, patients, payers, and internal teams.
- Billing knowledge related to DME, medical claims, and revenue cycle processes.
- Experience with medical billing software or practice management systems, especially in DME or healthcare billing.
- Understanding of insurance terminology, prior authorization, and documentation requirements for DME claims.
- Ability to work accurately in a high-volume environment, with strong attention to detail and time management.
- Prior experience in DME is an advantage.
