Role Description The Director of Technology is a full-time, on-site role based in Abroad, responsible for leading all technology initiatives that support Esse India’s immigration and visa consulting services. This role oversees the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, applications, and security frameworks to ensure reliable, compliant, and productive operations. The Director will manage cross-functional technology projects, align IT strategies with business goals, and collaborate closely with leadership to improve digital client experiences and internal workflows.

Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising IT teams, setting technology standards and roadmaps, monitoring system performance, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring data protection and regulatory compliance. The role also involves evaluating new tools and platforms,



driving technology innovation, and establishing best practices for documentation, risk management, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Information Technology, including IT infrastructure, applications, and cybersecurity.
- Proven experience in Program Management and Project Management, with the ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
- Demonstrated expertise in IT Strategy, including developing technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
- Effective Team Leadership skills, with experience building, mentoring, and managing diverse technical teams.
- Relevant academic background, such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in professional services, consulting, or regulated industries; exposure to immigration or legal services is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and accountability for outcomes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business language.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations, cloud technologies, and modern collaboration tools.
- Ability to work on-site in Kerala, India and collaborate effectively with teams and clients across locations.
