Role Overview

As the Director of Finance, you will lead and own the end-to-end operational finance engine for a global organization operating within a unique and dynamic three-entity structure that is central to TresVista’s global strategy. This is a strategic leadership role where, beyond managing the finance function, you will act as a key partner in driving the organization’s valuation and growth.

The role sits at the core of the company’s financial operations, managing the financial interplay between:

- The US parent entity (equity and debt),
- The UK principal entity (revenue and IP), and
- The India delivery center (operations, ~95% of headcount).

Reporting to the CFO, you will oversee all financial functions—ranging from procure-to-pay and order-to-cash to FP&A; and taxation. Your mandate includes managing cost-plus transfer pricing, driving the monthly close, automating finance processes, and developing analytics that enhance equity value and mitigate risk.

Roles & Responsibilities

Monthly Close, R2R & Controllership

- Monthly Close Ownership: Drive the financial close calendar across all three legal entities (US, UK, India), progressively shortening the close timeline with an initial target of Day 5.
- Record-to-Report (R2R): Own the general ledger, chart-of-accounts harmonization, intercompany eliminations, cost-plus markup calculations, and consolidated group reporting.
- Statutory Compliance: Ensure timely audits, statutory filings, and compliance across India (Companies Act, GST), the UK (Companies House, HMRC), and the US (state and federal requirements).
- Internal Controls: Design, implement, and enforce a robust internal control framework to build the organization toward SOX readiness.

Procure-to-Pay & Order-to-Cash

- Procure-to-Pay (P2P): Lead the end-to-end P2P cycle, including vendor management, PO workflows, invoice processing, and payment authorization, driving automation via Dynamics 365 ERP.

- Order-to-Cash (O2C): Own the full revenue cycle—contract booking, invoicing, collections, and revenue recognition—ensuring compliance with IFRS 15 / Ind AS 115.
- Working Capital Management: Actively manage DSO and DPO to optimize the cash conversion cycle, supported by real-time dashboards.

FP&A;, MIS & Analytics

- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting exercise and rolling forecasts, developing granular P&L; models by entity, service line, and geography.
- MIS & KPI Dashboards: Design and deliver comprehensive monthly MIS packs with forward-looking KPIs, unit economics, customer profitability, and key business drivers.
- Equity Value Analytics: Provide valuation-focused insights, including margin expansion levers, cohort analysis, and revenue-quality metrics for board and investor discussions.
- Scenario Modeling: Build financial models to support strategic initiatives such as current market entry, service expansion, and innovative pricing structures.

Treasury & Cash Management

- Cash Flow Management: Oversee daily cash positions and maintain a 13-week rolling cash flow forecast across all entities.
- Banking Relationships: Manage banking relationships across jurisdictions, coordinating credit facilities, guarantees, and FX hedging strategies.
- Fund Flow Architecture: Partner with the Capital Markets team to ensure effective operational management of equity and debt-related fund flows.

Tax, Transfer Pricing & SEZ Compliance

- Transfer Pricing: Own the cost-plus transfer pricing framework between India and UK entities, ensuring robust benchmarking, documentation, and defensibility.
- Direct & Indirect Tax: Manage corporate tax, TDS, GST (India), VAT (UK), and US federal/state filings with full compliance.
- SEZ Compliance: Where applicable, manage SEZ-related compliance, including approvals, softex filings, and export obligation tracking.
- ESOP Tax: Coordinate with HR and Legal on ESOP-related tax implications, including perquisite calculations and cost recharges.

Risk Management & Internal Audit

- Risk Framework: Develop and maintain a comprehensive finance risk register covering FX, credit, counterparty, and operational risks.
- Internal Audit: Establish an internal audit program to identify control gaps and track remediation actions.
- Compliance Calendar: Maintain a centralized compliance calendar to ensure all statutory deadlines are met across jurisdictions.

Automation, ERP & Systems

- ERP Ownership: Serve as the primary finance owner for the Dynamics 365 ERP, driving adoption and maximizing system value.
- Process Automation: Champion automation of repetitive finance tasks using tools such as Power Automate and AI to enable higher-value analytical work.
- Data Integrity: Be accountable for the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data across all systems.

Stakeholder Management & Commercial Interface

- Customer Engagement: Engage with key customers on commercial topics including billing, pricing discussions, and contract renewals.
- Vendor Management: Lead commercial negotiations with vendors on pricing, payment terms, and SLAs.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as a key partner to Legal, HR, the CEO’s office, and the Capital Markets team.
- Board & Investor Readiness: Ensure all financial outputs are consistently board- and investor-grade, ready for external scrutiny.
