Leadership and Client Delivery
Type: Full time
Location: Mohali Office
Experience: 7 to 10 years
About This Opportunity
Content Vista runs growth programmes for clients across India, the UK, the UAE, and the US. The work is delivered by four specialist divisions: Growth Systems, Paid Growth, Social and Creative, and Design and Video. Each division has a lead, and each runs to a documented workflow with defined standard times, approval tiers, and quality gates.
What sits above them today is the founders. We are hiring a Director of Client Delivery and Growth to take that seat.
This role has one central accountability: every retained client keeps getting what they were promised, on time and at the standard we sold, month after month. You are the person who makes sure nothing becomes a blocker, whether the blocker is a missing brief, a stalled approval, a resourcing clash between divisions, or a client who has gone quiet.
You hold the relationship. You hold the quality bar on everything that reaches a client. You hold the fulfilment outcome that keeps the account renewing.
You will work alongside the Client Delivery and Operations Manager, who owns the internal machine of capacity, process, and resourcing. You own what reaches the client and whether it worked. Between you, you run the delivery organisation.
This role exists to replace founder involvement in day-to-day account decisions. That is the explicit brief. Within two quarters, decisions that reach the founders today should be reaching you.
What You Are Walking Into
This is not a role where you arrive and build the operating system from scratch. It already exists, and you will be its owner.
- Four divisions, each with a documented workflow: service catalogue, standard times per output, sequencing rules, quality gates, and cross-division handoff lead times.
- A three-tier approval framework, a revision policy, and a client dependency clause applied consistently across every account.
- Role clarity documents mapping every position in every division to its responsibilities and its KPIs, drawn from those workflows.
- A weekly delivery review across divisions and a monthly account review rhythm.
Your job is to run this system, enforce it, improve it,
and take the decisions that currently reach a founder. Not to invent it.
Responsibilities
Client fulfilment
- Own the delivery outcome on every retained account: the right work, at the agreed standard, on the agreed date.
- Hold the final quality gate on everything that reaches a client, across all four divisions.
- Track each account against the roadmap that was sold, and intervene early when it drifts.
- Own the client-side dependencies. Chase the approvals, the access, and the inputs before they become the reason we are late.
- Run the incident response when something breaks, and make sure the client hears it from us first.
Client relationship
- Act as the senior point of contact for every retained account, and the escalation point clients reach when something matters.
- Lead monthly and quarterly reviews, and hold the conversation about outcomes rather than activity.
- Set and defend scope. Know the difference between a revision and a new request, and have that conversation before the work is done.
- Handle difficult conversations directly: delays, underperformance, scope, and price.
Division coordination
- Translate client commitments into division-level scope and hold Division Heads to the standard.
- Resolve conflicts when divisions compete for the same resource, and make the call.
- Confirm feasibility before anything is committed to a client, so we stop selling what we cannot staff.
- Chair the weekly delivery review across divisions and the monthly account review with the founders.
Commercial ownership
- Own retention and renewal across the portfolio as a number.
- Own the commercial health of each account: scope against delivery, and margin.
- Identify where a client's results justify additional scope, and build the case.
- Support new business with scoping and delivery feasibility on proposals.
Systems
- Own the divisional workflow standards and keep them current as the business changes.
- Enforce the approval framework, the revision policy, and the client dependency rules consistently across accounts.
- Validate standard times against actual delivery data and reset them as the evidence builds.
- Improve the operating system rather than working around it. If a process is being bypassed, fix the process.
- Give the founders the reporting they need to run the business without being inside the accounts.
Requirements
Essential
- 7 to 10 years in agency, consultancy, or client-facing delivery roles, with at least 3 years owning client relationships at a senior level.
- Demonstrable accountability for retention, renewal, or revenue. You have carried a number, not just a workload.
- Experience coordinating specialist teams across more than one discipline. You do not need to be the best marketer in the room, but you need to hold a credible conversation with a paid media lead, an SEO lead, and a creative lead in the same hour.
- Track record of retaining and growing accounts, with examples you can talk through in detail.
- Comfortable holding difficult client conversations: scope, delay, underperformance, and price.
- Strong commercial judgement. You can look at an account and see where it is losing margin.
- Structured and systems-minded. You improve processes rather than tolerating them.
- Experience working with international clients across time zones.
Strong advantage
- B2B services or B2B SaaS client experience.
- Exposure to more than one of: SEO and content, paid media, outbound, brand and creative.
- Experience building the layer that replaces founder involvement in an owner-led business.
- Experience with structured delivery systems, SOPs, and approval frameworks.
Why This Role Matters
Content Vista has strong Division Heads and a delivery system that works. What it does not have is a layer between the clients and the founders. Today every consequential client decision reaches a founder, which makes the founders the constraint on how many clients the agency can serve well.
This role removes that constraint.
