Product Manager – Industry 4.0

This role will be uniquely positioned to work collaboratively with executive leadership, business and IT,and third-party vendors to establish a cohesive strategy and lead teams through a digital transformation of business processes and technical capabilities in Digital Factory & Industry 4.0 Initiatives.

Location : Kolkata/Mumbai/Pune/Bangalore

Role Description

•Drive growth and enable differentiating manufacturing capabilities as competitive advantage through innovative technology solutions.

•Complete ownership of the new digital initiatives in Manufacturing which encompass Energy Management, Plant Maintenance, Quality Management, MES, Warehouse Management,OEE,Labour Productivity,Safety, Traceability,etc.

•Experience of end-to-end digitisation of Product Life Cycle Mgmt (PLM) process for introducing a new product right from conceptualization, setting up RFQ process flow, Cost estimation, APQP, E-BOM, M-BOM, SAP Integration, etc.

•Creating business requirement documents for new platforms like IIOT, Manufacturing Analytics, IT/OT Integration, MES,vision systems,etc.





•Selecting right vendor partner for the end to end digital transformation and working hand in hand to plan out the entire transformation plan.

•Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure digital vision and driving alignment and progress

•Design,pilot, implementation and maintenance of platforms; facilitating release planning with stakeholders as well as weekly demos

•Building the team as needed to successfully implement the digital vision

Expertise

•BE/B.Tech in Computer Science or Control Systems Engineer and around 5 years experience in manufacturing industry

•Strong experience in the use of the internet of things, data analytics and industry 4.0 technologies.

•Expertise in improving productivity, quality and cost reduction in manufacturing operations

•Engineering knowledge & skills in PLC, SCADA and Controls logic and Robotic programing is desirable

•Solid Problem Solving skills. Experience in working with cross-functional teams from tech, design, and business
