About the Role

Techjays is looking for a hands-on DevOps Lead to own and drive cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, automation, reliability, security, and production operations for contemporary software and AI-enabled platforms.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Azure or AWS , along with experience in Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, CI/CD, monitoring, and production infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design, implementation, and operation of scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure.
- Own DevOps strategy and technical direction across cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, automation, and production operations.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines across development, staging, and production environments.
- Design and manage Kubernetes environments using AKS/EKS, Docker, and Helm .
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and relevant cloud-native tools.
- Establish deployment standards, reusable pipeline templates, and automated release processes.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, incident management, and reliability practices.
- Work closely with engineering and AI teams to support infrastructure for AI-enabled applications.
- Drive cloud security practices including IAM/RBAC, secrets management, networking, and access controls.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues, lead root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.
- Optimize infrastructure performance, scalability, and cloud costs.
- Mentor DevOps engineers and provide technical leadership across projects and teams.





Required Skills
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure .
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure or AWS with experience managing production cloud environments.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes – AKS/EKS , Docker, and Helm.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code .
- Strong experience in CI/CD using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or equivalent.
- Strong Linux administration and scripting experience using Python, Bash, and/or PowerShell .
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana .
- Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, IAM/RBAC, secrets management, and infrastructure governance.
- Experience troubleshooting production environments, incident management, and RCA.
- Strong technical leadership, ownership, communication, and mentoring skills.

Good to Have
- Exposure to AI/ML, Generative AI, LLM platforms, or AI-enabled applications .
- Experience with GitOps and Argo CD .
- Experience with blue/green deployments, canary releases, and automated rollback strategies.
- Experience with cloud cost optimization / FinOps.
- Relevant AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes certifications.

Work Location Coimbatore – Onsite
