Owned and operated by BalanceHero Group, True Balance is an RBI authorized Prepaid Payment Instrument (PPI) issuing entity. It offers loans through its subsidiary and RBI licensed Non-Banking Financial Company - True Credits Private Limited and other RBI licensed partners. Founded in 2016, as a mobile app for users in India to efficiently manage their phone calls and data usage, True Balance is now India’s one of the top financial services platforms providing solutions to all the financial needs of its users - from obtaining instant loans, paying utility bills to do prepaid recharges seamlessly.

:

- Minimum 8+ years of hands-on DevOps /infrastructure engineering experience.
- Deep AWS expertise — proven architecture experience with EKS, EC2, RDS, VPC Transit Gateway, IAM (IRSA, SCPs, permission boundaries), CloudTrail,
- Expert-level Kubernetes — cluster architecture, multi-tenancy, upgrade strategy, service mesh and deep troubleshooting.
- Expert-level Terraform — module design patterns, state management at scale, workspace strategy, and CI/CD integration.
- Strong observability engineering background — Prometheus, alerting, Grafana, distributed tracing (OpenTelemetry), and log aggregation (Loki or ELK).
- Sonarqube, version-controlled infrastructure workflows.
- CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
- Solid scripting skills in Bash and Python.
- Experience with monitoring stacks: Prometheus + Grafana, ELK.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals: DNS, TLS/SSL, load balancing, VPN, firewall rules.




- Working knowledge of NBFC/PCI-DSS or other financial regulatory compliance requirements.
- Solid knowledge on Linux servers( Amazon Linux 2023, Ubuntu, etc.)
- Automation, IaC, ArgoCD, ansible.

Good to Have

- Experience with service mesh technologies (like Istio, Linkerd).
- Familiarity with GitOps workflows.
- Knowledge of database operations: PostgreSQL, MySQL, kafka, Redis clustering and backup strategies.
- Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect/DevOps Professional.

Roles and responsibilities:

- Design, provision, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS for production and non-production environments.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS) for containerised microservices; handle scaling, upgrades, and node lifecycle.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Ansible for repeatable, auditable deployments.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions,) enabling multiple deployments per day
- Standardise Docker container builds and image scanning via tools like Trivy or Snyk.
- Ensure infrastructure compliance with Security guidelines.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and drive remediation in collaboration with the security team
- Set up end-to-end observability using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack,zabbix,configure alerting.
- Lead post-incident reviews, produce RCAs, and drive systematic reliability improvements.

Required Experience:

- 8+ years of hands-on DevOps/Infrastructure engineering experience

Education:

- B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Equivalent work experience with demonstrable technical depth will be considered.
