Job Summary

CloudZent Technology Services LLP is seeking a motivated and technically driven DevOps Engineer to support and improve our software delivery and infrastructure operations. The role involves working closely with development and technical teams to build reliable deployment processes, automate operational activities, manage deployment environments, and support application availability and performance.

Responsibilities

- Manage and support application deployment, release, and environment management activities

- Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient and reliable software delivery

- Work with Linux-based systems, Git-based version control, and containerized application environments

- Implement automation for build, deployment, configuration, and recurring operational tasks

- Support cloud infrastructure and deployment environments across AWS, Azure, or comparable platforms

- Monitor application and infrastructure health, investigate incidents, and assist in root-cause analysis

- Collaborate with software developers and technical stakeholders to resolve deployment and infrastructure issues

- Maintain deployment configurations, technical documentation, and operational procedures

- Apply DevOps, security, reliability, and operational best practices across development and production environments

Requirements

- B.Tech / B.E. / BCA / MCA or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology,



or a related technical discipline

- Proficiency in Linux administration and command-line operations

- Strong understanding of Git and GitHub-based version control workflows

- Hands-on understanding of Docker and containerization concepts

- Strong understanding of CI/CD principles, pipeline workflows, and automated deployments

- Working knowledge of at least one cloud platform such as AWS or Microsoft Azure

- Proficiency in scripting with Bash and/or Python for automation and operational tasks

- Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, ports, and connectivity troubleshooting

- Ability to troubleshoot application, deployment, infrastructure, and environment-related issues

- Solid analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Jenkins or GitHub Actions

- Exposure to Kubernetes and container orchestration

- Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code practices

- Exposure to monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or cloud-native monitoring solutions

- Understanding of security, access management, and DevSecOps practices
