About the Role

Fifty One Code Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is an embedded systems team building firmware and hardware-integrated products. We're hiring a DevOps Engineer + Backend Developer — a hybrid role — to own the cloud, server, backend, and deployment infrastructure behind our connected devices.

Main Project

You'll work on our live audio broadcasting system: a real-time IoT platform connecting cloud backend services with our own manufactured hardware for low-latency, reliable audio streaming at scale. This role sits at the intersection of backend engineering and network/infrastructure reliability, working closely with hardware and firmware teams.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs powering the live audio broadcasting system
- Deploy, manage, and scale server infrastructure on AWS
- Configure and maintain server-to-hardware communication for real-time audio streaming
- Monitor system performance, connectivity,



and network stability to ensure consistent, low-latency delivery
- Manage supplementary hosting/deployments via cPanel and WHM
- Troubleshoot backend, infrastructure, deployment, and connectivity issues
- Participate in on-call rotation for critical system incidents

Qualifications
- Hands-on experience via freelance work, internships, academic/personal projects, or professional roles
- Solid backend development skills: APIs, databases, server-side programming
- Working knowledge of AWS (EC2, S3, or similar); familiarity with cPanel/WHM a plus
- Understanding of real-time systems, networking fundamentals, and low-latency data transmission
- Bonus: experience with WebRTC, MQTT, or similar real-time streaming protocols
