Project Role Description : Responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security. Build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats.

We are looking for an experienced Telecom BSS domain candidate who also have fair understanding of the Utility Domain in SAP IS-U Billing area to support business and technology transformation initiatives across Telecom and Utility domains.

The candidate should bring a unique combination of Telecom domain knowledge, SAP IS-U Billing functional understanding, Product Management and Business Analysis capabilities. The role will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, SAP functional teams and technology teams to translate complex business requirements into scalable billing and customer-centric solutions.

This role is particularly suited for professionals who can bridge Telecom BSS and Utility Billing processes and bring a product-oriented approach to large-scale transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities 1. Telecom & Billing

Understand and analyze Telecom BSS / PAYG business processes and product lifecycles.

Work with stakeholders to define requirements related to products, offerings, usage, charging and billing.

Analyze product changes and assess their functional and downstream impact.

Support solution definition across customer, product, usage and billing journeys.

Facilitate business and technology discussions to ensure requirements are clearly understood and executable.

- SAP IS-U Billing

Analyze and document SAP IS-U Billing business and functional requirements.





Support Utility billing and customer-to-cash transformation initiatives.

Translate Utility business requirements into functional specifications and actionable user stories.

Work with SAP functional and technical teams on billing-related enhancements and change requests.

Support processes covering consumption-to-billing, billing, invoicing and associated customer/revenue lifecycle activities.

Participate in functional impact analysis, solution workshops, testing and UAT.

Support defect analysis, prioritization and resolution during testing and release cycles. 3.

Product

Management / Product Ownership

Define and maintain product roadmaps aligned with business objectives.

Manage product backlogs, features and change requests.

Translate business objectives into PRDs, epics, user stories and acceptance criteria.

Prioritize features based on business value, customer impact, technical feasibility and delivery considerations.

Coordinate with Product, Business, SAP Functional and Technology teams to drive end-to-end feature delivery.

Support release planning, stakeholder demonstrations and post-release enhancements. 4.

Business

Analysis

Lead business requirement gathering and requirement clarification workshops.

Analyze existing business processes and identify improvement opportunities.

Conduct functional and impact analysis for product and billing changes.

Convert high-level business requirements into detailed functional requirements.

Develop process flows, user journeys, business rules and acceptance criteria.

Ensure traceability between business requirements, functional design, development and testing.

- Testing & Release Management





Coordinate with business and technology teams for SIT/UAT activities.

Support test scenario and test-case definition for billing and product changes.

Drive defect triage and prioritization based on business impact.

Support release readiness and production deployment activities.

Analyze post-release issues and coordinate continuous product improvements. 6.

Stakeholder

Management

Act as an effective bridge between Business, Product, SAP Functional and Technology teams.

Conduct client and stakeholder workshops.

Present solution options, functional impacts and product recommendations.

Manage stakeholder expectations across requirements, prioritization and delivery.

Facilitate alignment across geographically distributed teams.

Required Skills & Experience Must Have

Experience in Telecom BSS / PAYG / Telecom Product Platforms.

Strong understanding of billing and revenue lifecycle processes.

Experience with SAP IS-U Billing and Utility billing processes.

Strong Business Analysis and requirement-gathering skills.

Experience creating PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria and functional requirements.

Strong Product Ownership / Product Management experience.

Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies.

Experience in UAT, defect management and release execution.

Solid stakeholder and client management skills.

Ability to translate business requirements into functional and technology solutions. Good to Have

Experience in Utility Customer-to-Cash transformation.

Exposure to SAP IS-U ecosystem and related Utility processes.

Knowledge of Utility consumption, metering and billing concepts.

Exposure to Telecom BSS product, charging and usage management.

SQL and data-analysis capabilities.

Excel / Power BI experience.

Exposure to AI / GenAI and digital product capabilities.
