Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Lead OutSystems Developer to design, develop, integrate, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade web and mobile applications using the OutSystems low-code platform.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in OutSystems architecture, Reactive/Mobile application development, SQL/database optimization, C#/.NET, JavaScript, and API integrations. This role requires someone who can work independently on complex modules while also providing technical leadership, conducting code reviews, mentoring developers, and ensuring adherence to development and architecture best practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications using OutSystems Reactive Web and Mobile.

- Independently own complex modules and deliver features from requirements through production deployment.

- Define scalable and maintainable application architecture using OutSystems Architecture Canvas and 4-Layer Canvas principles.

- Design reusable components and ensure appropriate separation of responsibilities across modules.

- Analyze existing applications and perform module refactoring, technical debt reduction, and performance optimization.

- Develop custom extensions using C#/.NET through Integration Studio where native OutSystems functionality is insufficient.

- Develop and maintain client-side functionality using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

- Design, write, debug, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, data models, and database operations.

- Troubleshoot database performance issues involving indexing, query execution, joins, and data access.

- Develop and consume REST/SOAP APIs and integrate OutSystems applications with third-party and enterprise systems.

- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to OutSystems development and architecture best practices.





- Identify and resolve application performance, scalability, integration, and production issues.

- Mentor junior and mid-level developers and provide technical guidance to the development team.

- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Experience working on large-scale enterprise applications

- Experience with Azure/AWS or cloud-based application environments

- CI/CD and DevOps experience

- Experience with authentication/authorization such as OAuth 2.0, JWT, SSO

- Experience with microservices or distributed application architecture

- Experience with performance monitoring and application observability

- Experience leading a small development team

- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
