Role Description
Software Engineer – Autosar, Functional Safety, Integration & Testing Responsible for end-to-end embedded software development, integration, release, and verification activities for automotive ECU applications. The role includes requirement analysis, software design and implementation in C, code reviews, unit and integration testing, software integration and release management, quality analysis, and testing on target ECUs. The engineer will ensure compliance with Functional Safety requirements, MISRA guidelines, and automotive communication standards while contributing to the complete software development lifecycle.

Skills
- Solid Embedded C programming and debugging experience
- Functional Safety (ISO 26262) software development and verification
- Experience with SafeRTOS, FreeRTOS, or µC/OS
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR architecture, MCAL, BSW, OS, Scheduler, and ECU software integration
- Hands-on experience with CAN, UDS (ISO 14229), and J1939 protocols
- Proficiency in Git/Gerrit, Configuration Management, and Requirement Management tools
- Experience with static code analysis, MISRA compliance, and software quality analysis
- Knowledge of unit and integration testing tools such as Tessy, RTRT, and TPT
- Familiarity with CANoe, CANalyzer, CAPL scripting, and fault injection testing
- Basic Python/Perl scripting knowledge
- Understanding Safety Concepts, Safety Goals, Safety Mechanisms, Safety Manual, AoU, and Freedom from Interference (FFI)
- Strong documentation, communication, and MS Office skills Preferred Experience: 5–10 years in Automotive Embedded Software Development, Functional Safety, Integration, and Testing environments.
