Summary The Senior Design Engineer (Architectural Design) will lead and manage the architectural design, planning, and coordination of large-scale institutional construction projects, including universities, colleges, schools, and other educational facilities. The role requires extensive experience in developing design solutions, ensuring statutory compliance, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams from concept through project delivery.

About the Role:

- Lead architectural planning, concept development, detailed design, and design management for institutional building construction projects such as universities, colleges, schools, and educational campuses.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, landscape, and project management teams to ensure integrated and technically sound design solutions.
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, BOQs, and design documents to ensure compliance with client requirements, local regulations, codes, and sustainability standards.
- Manage design consultants, conduct design reviews, and provide technical guidance throughout project lifecycles from feasibility studies through construction support.
- Drive value engineering, optimization of building systems, and implementation of innovative design practices to meet quality, budget, and schedule requirements.

About You:

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline.




- Minimum 15 years of professional experience in architectural design and engineering for institutional building construction projects such as universities, colleges, schools, educational campuses, research facilities, or public institutions.
- Candidates with significant experience in commercial developments, hospitality projects, hotels, resorts, mixed-use developments, or large-scale real estate projects will also be considered.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM platforms, SketchUp, and other architectural design software.
- Demonstrated expertise in design coordination, statutory approvals, building codes, construction documentation, and stakeholder management.
