Design & Estimation Engineer Freeze Drying / Low Temperature Refrigeration

Infra Cool Pvt. Ltd., an established refrigeration engineering and EPC company since 2004, is expanding into Freeze Drying Solutions in association with international freeze-drying equipment OEMs.

We are looking for a Design & Estimation Engineer to support the design and estimation of refrigeration systems associated with freeze-drying applications.

The position offers an opportunity to work with international technology partners and gain exposure to freeze drying, low-temperature refrigeration, system design and project engineering.

We are looking for a Design & Estimation Engineer to support the design, estimation and technical-commercial development of refrigeration systems associated with freeze-drying applications.

The position offers exposure to international OEM technology, freeze drying and low-temperature refrigeration systems, along with involvement in customer proposals and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and estimate low-temperature refrigeration systems.
- Carry out refrigeration load calculations and equipment selection.
- Prepare P&IDs;, equipment schedules, BOMs and cost estimates.




- Review freeze-dryer OEM requirements and develop the refrigeration interface.
- Coordinate with international OEMs and equipment suppliers on technical matters.
- Prepare technical-commercial proposals and support the sales team.
- Provide engineering support during installation and commissioning.

Candidate Profile

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- 5–8 years of experience in refrigeration design and estimation.
- Experience in low-temperature refrigeration will be an advantage.
- Positive knowledge of refrigeration equipment, systems and controls.
- Experience with AutoCAD, P&IDs;, BOMs and costing.
- Ability to understand technical documentation from international equipment manufacturers.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and develop expertise in freeze drying and specialized refrigeration applications.
