Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Mechanical Design Engineer Trainer to conduct technical training programs for students, freshers, and working professionals. The trainer will be responsible for delivering practical and industry-oriented training in mechanical design, CAD modelling, engineering drawings, and design practices.

The candidate should have strong hands-on knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, and CATIA, along with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly through practical demonstrations and projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct classroom and practical training sessions on mechanical design and CAD tools.
- Train students in 2D drafting and 3D mechanical modelling.
- Prepare training materials, presentations, assignments, exercises, and project-based activities.
- Demonstrate real-world mechanical design workflows and industry practices.
- Guide students in creating components, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings.
- Teach engineering drawing concepts, dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T.;
- Provide hands-on training using industry-standard CAD software.
- Evaluate student performance through assignments, assessments, and practical exercises.
- Mentor students during mini-projects and major projects.
- Identify students' technical gaps and provide appropriate guidance.
- Conduct doubt-clearing and revision sessions.
- Maintain student training records and progress reports.
- Stay updated with current mechanical design and CAD industry practices.
- Coordinate with the training/academic team to improve course content.

Educational Qualification

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Production Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Experience

- Experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer / CAD Engineer / Design Engineer.
- Previous experience in technical training or teaching is preferred.
- Candidates with industry projects and practical CAD experience will be preferred.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, and CATIA and should be passionate about teaching and mentoring. The candidate must be capable of converting theoretical mechanical design concepts into hands-on, industry-oriented training and projects.
