Job Summary

We are looking for a Design Engineer – PEB responsible for structural design and engineering of Pre-Engineered Buildings. The candidate will be involved in design calculations, preparation/review of structural drawings, and coordination with detailing, estimation, and project teams to ensure accurate and cost-effective designs.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare structural designs and engineering calculations for PEB structures.
- Design primary and secondary structural members such as columns, rafters, purlins, girts, bracings, and connections.
- Analyse structures for various load conditions including dead load, live load, wind load, seismic load, and other applicable loads.
- Prepare and review design calculations, design reports, and structural drawings.
- Coordinate with the Detailing, Estimation, Production, and Project teams for design requirements.
- Review GA drawings, erection drawings, and fabrication drawings for design compliance.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable IS Codes, client specifications, and project requirements.
- Identify design discrepancies and provide appropriate technical solutions.
- Optimize structural designs to achieve material efficiency and cost effectiveness.
- Review and respond to technical queries from clients, consultants, and project teams.




- Support project teams during fabrication and erection by resolving design-related issues.
- Maintain proper documentation and records of design calculations and revisions.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of PEB structural design and steel structures.
- Good understanding of structural analysis and load calculations.
- Knowledge of relevant IS Codes and design standards.
- Proficiency in STAAD.Pro and relevant structural design software.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of PEB design concepts, connections, and structural components.
- Valuable analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Educational Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- Candidates with relevant PEB industry experience will be preferred.

Experience
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in PEB / Structural Steel Design.
- Candidates should have hands-on experience in designing PEB structures.

Preferred
- Experience with STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD and Tekla.
- Experience in PEB manufacturing/design companies.
- Knowledge of IS 800, IS 875, IS 1893 and other applicable standards.
- Exposure to international design codes such as AISC/MBMA will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
