R&D; role is essential for driving the design & development of marine gearboxes and defence components by managing end to end R&D; activities, including concept development, design validation, analysis and prototype realization
It serves as a key technical interface with Defence PSUs and customers, ensuring effective coordination, adherence to regulatory and defence standards and development of robust, long term technical partnerships
Overall, the role strengthens the companys position in the defence sector by aligning engineering expertise with innovation and execution, ensuring design reliability, compliance and sustained technological growth
Lead design and development of marine gearboxes and transmission products to meet customer requirements,
ensuring delivery within defined project timelines and quality standards
Validate key design parameters including torque, efficiency, manufacturing tolerances, GD & T and compliance with AGMA, DIN and ISO standards
Ensure gearbox design compliance through the use of engineering software tools (Solidworks, AutoCAD, CREO, KISSsoft, Romax) and perform detailed analysis to achieve design accuracy and performance targets
Preferred candidate profile
Min 10-12 yrs of experience in marine gearbox design and development
