Role Overview

Job Role: OpenShift Ansible Expert

Work Mode: Hybrid

Experience: 8-10 Years

Responsibilities

- Design, deploy, and manage Red Hat OpenShift container platform environments.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Ansible Automation Platform playbooks and workflows.
- Lead the migration of existing Ansible automation workloads onto OpenShift environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OpenShift clusters and Ansible automation processes.
- Collaborate effectively with development, operations, and security teams to establish automated CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and drive them to successful completion with minimal supervision.
- Actively identify opportunities for improvement and automation, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Continuously expand technical knowledge by staying current with the latest OpenShift, Kubernetes,



and automation trends.
- Document automation workflows, cluster configurations, and operational procedures clearly and comprehensively.

Technical Skills Required
- Proven expertise in managing and administering Red Hat OpenShift clusters (OpenShift 4.x preferred).
- Strong hands-on experience with Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), including playbook development and AWX/Tower management.
- Solid understanding of container orchestration, Kubernetes concepts, and infrastructure-as-code principles.
- Experience with Linux system administration and networking fundamentals.
- Proficiency with shell scripting (Bash) for automation tasks.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex distributed systems.
- Demonstrated curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving environments.
- Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Experience working within Agile and DevOps environments, supporting CI/CD and automation pipelines.
