Purpose of the Role:

The role is Responsibility for Leading HV Harness, CCS2 and PDU Development and New Technology developments in this area. This is a key position for development of HV Harness across platforms.

Job Responsibilities:

Current Product Development:

- Plan and track the HV harness development to meet the timelines of the programs
- Identify risks and prepare the necessary mitigation plan
- Supplier Proposal Technical Evaluations and Rankings based on technical requirements
- Highlight issues during development and discuss with all stakeholders for resolution
- Review the design at various stages to ensure that all the learnings from failures and earlier programs are addressed
- Prepare TGR and TGW for each program
- Benchmark for new technologies in HV Harness and continually build the technology road map for the team
- Ensure that the learnings from earlier programs and field failures are captured in the validation plan
- Support Service, Customer Quality and Manufacturing teams for failure analysis
- Train stakeholders (ERC Proto, Manufacturing, Service and Quality) for HV Safety
- Build standardization and modularization in design
- Prepare design guidelines and service guidelines for HV Harness
- Contribute to DFMEA at powertrain level and for HV Harness
- Identify and Implement VA VE / Productivity improvement ideas
- Identify new technologies for application to NPI program

NPI Process:

- Track the deliverable success criteria for upcoming milestones at the project level and highlight issues if any.
- Collate data for Risk assessment and ensure timely escalation through review governance process




- Collate data to monitor the progress against milestone criteria as well as PAT
- Organize reviews to debottleneck achievement of targets and ensure identified actions are followed through.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- 12-14 years’ experience Harness Domain Design and Development
- HV System Safety Requirements
- Component Sizing and selection of components for HV Harness and PDU.
- Understanding of HV Architecture for Powertrain components
- Understanding of Harness manufacturing process
- Bench /System /Vehicle Level Validation requirements
- HV / Electrical systems troubleshooting techniques
- Handling Design Quality, Field Quality issues
- Knowledge of Regulatory and Validations standards and future requirements for these aggregates
- HV Safety Requirements
- Postgraduate /Graduation Electrical Engineering
