We are seeking an experienced and responsible Depot Incharge to oversee the day-to-day operations of our depot in Madurai. The candidate will be responsible for inventory management, dispatch coordination, stock accuracy, warehouse operations, and ensuring timely delivery of products to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage overall depot and warehouse operations.
- Monitor stock receipts, storage, and dispatch activities.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct periodic stock audits.
- Coordinate with sales, logistics, and transport teams for timely deliveries.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of materials.
- Monitor loading and unloading activities.
- Maintain depot housekeeping and safety standards.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
- Handle customer and transporter queries related to deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in depot, warehouse, or inventory management.
- Experience in the building materials industry will be an added advantage.
- Positive knowledge of inventory control and dispatch processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory management systems.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage manpower and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
