Role Description The DBA – SQL role at Nway Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is a full-time, in office position based in Indore. The role involves managing and maintaining SQL databases, including installation, configuration, monitoring, and performance tuning to ensure high availability and reliability.

The DBA will design and optimize database schemas, implement replication and backup strategies, and safeguard data integrity and security. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving database issues, supporting development teams with queries and stored procedures, and collaborating on releases and migrations.



The role also requires documenting database environments, following best practices, and contributing to continuous improvement of data operations.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Database Administration and Databases, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, backup, recovery, and security.
- Candidates should possess hands-on expertise in Replication and high-availability strategies to ensure data consistency and minimize downtime.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Database Design, including schema modeling, indexing strategies, normalization, and optimization for transactional workloads.
- Candidates should possess advanced Troubleshooting abilities for diagnosing SQL performance issues, query bottlenecks, and database errors in production environments.
- Proficiency in SQL Server (or similar RDBMS), T-SQL scripting, and tools for monitoring and profiling database performance.
- Experience working with ERP or large-scale enterprise applications, preferably in construction or related domains, is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams on-site in Indore.
