Role Description The Data Engineer role at Radio Compiler is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad.

The Data

Engineer will design, build, and maintain data pipelines to support analytics, reporting, and product features, ensuring data is accurate, reliable, and efficiently processed. Day-to-day tasks include developing and optimizing ETL workflows, implementing data models and data warehouse structures, and collaborating with data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to understand data needs and deliver solutions. The role also involves monitoring data systems, troubleshooting performance or quality issues, documenting data processes, and contributing to best practices for data governance and security.

Qualifications





- Candidates should possess strong Data Engineering skills, including experience with building and maintaining scalable data pipelines.
- Candidates should possess skills in Data Modeling and Data Warehousing to design effective and robust data architectures.
- Candidates should possess experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and tools to integrate data from multiple sources.
- Candidates should possess Data Analytics skills to interpret data, support business decisions, and collaborate effectively with analytics teams.
- Candidates should have proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language commonly used in data engineering (such as Python or Scala).
- Candidates should have experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases, and familiarity with cloud data platforms is beneficial.
- Candidates should demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
