Job Summary

We are looking for a Solution Architect - Data Analytics to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale analytics platforms on the Microsoft ecosystem. This role is balanced between delivery and pre-sales (50:50) and requires strong technical depth, architectural thinking, and people leadership skills. The ideal candidate has been hands-on earlier in their career and now operates effectively at an architecture, client-facing, and team leadership level

Key Responsibilities 1. Solution Architecture Delivery (50%)

- Own end-to-end solution architecture for data and analytics programmes.
- Design architectures using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, Databricks, and dbt.
- Define Lakehouse and medallion architectures (Bronze / Silver / Gold).
- Establish data modelling strategies and review technical designs for scalability, security, and cost optimization.

1. Pre-Sales Client Engagement (50%)

- Lead solutioning for proposals and RFPs; conduct architecture workshops and whiteboarding sessions.
- Support estimations and delivery approach definition.

Technical Leadership People Management

- Mentor and guide data engineers; participate in hiring and capability building.
- Resolve escalations and provide architectural direction.

1. Governance, Security Quality

- Design governance-aligned architectures.
- Implement security using Azure RBAC, Purview, Unity Catalog, and Fabric security.
- Define data quality frameworks and MDM patterns.

Required Skills Qualifications
- 7+ years in data analytics engineering or architecture.
- Strong Azure Data Platform experience; Microsoft Fabric solution design.
- Databricks Delta Lake; dbt working knowledge.
- Proficiency in SQL Python.
- Client-facing experience with robust communication skills

Industry Experience
- Mandatory: Experience in Healthcare, Manufacturing, or Finance.
