About the Role

We are looking for a Data Analyst with strong hands-on experience in SQL and ETL pipeline development. The ideal candidate should have strong SQL expertise and experience in data extraction, transformation, loading, validation, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

This is a SQL-intensive role requiring hands-on experience with complex queries, relational databases, ETL processes, and data quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries, including joins, subqueries, CTEs, stored procedures, and analytical queries.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, and loading activities.
- Monitor data pipelines and identify and resolve data quality and processing issues.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, discrepancies, and data quality issues.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, completeness, and integrity across multiple data sources.
- Work with large datasets and optimize SQL queries for better performance.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to understand data requirements and deliver accurate data solutions.
- Troubleshoot ETL and data pipeline failures and ensure timely resolution.
- Perform data quality checks and implement appropriate validation processes.
- Maintain technical documentation related to data pipelines, SQL processes,



and data workflows.

Required Skills

- 1+ years of relevant industry experience as a Data Analyst, ETL Developer, Data Engineer, or in a similar data-focused role.
- Strong hands-on SQL experience Mandatory.
- Strong understanding of ETL concepts and pipeline development.
- Hands-on experience with data extraction, transformation, loading, and validation.
- Strong understanding of relational databases and data structures.
- Experience with data quality checks, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Experience working with large datasets and SQL query optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with technical and business teams.

Preferred Profile

- Candidates with experience in SQL-heavy Data Analyst, ETL, Data Engineering, or Data Pipeline roles.
- Candidates should have strong hands-on experience in SQL rather than primarily working on reporting or dashboard development.
- Experience with stored procedures, CTEs, complex joins, query optimization, and data validation will be an advantage.

Important Screening Criteria

- SQL is mandatory and should be hands-on and solid.
- Candidates whose experience is primarily limited to Power BI/dashboard development without strong SQL and ETL exposure are not suitable.
- Profiles primarily focused on PySpark should be avoided.
