Job Overview

As a Cybersecurity Expert at Riverhouse Technologies, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information systems. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of practical experience in cybersecurity and possess a deep understanding of current cybersecurity threats and mitigation strategies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain robust security measures, conduct risk assessments, and respond to security incidents.

Responsibilities

1. Security Implementation: Deploy, manage, and maintain security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus solutions.

- Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and address potential security vulnerabilities.
- Incident Response: Develop and implement incident response plans, and lead investigations into security incidents or breaches.
- Security Audits: Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and remediate potential weaknesses.
- Security Policies and Procedures:* Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Security Awareness:



Provide training and awareness programs to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT and development teams to integrate security measures into the overall technology architecture.
- Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor security logs and alerts, analyze trends, and respond to potential threats in real-time.
- Research and Development: Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and threats, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Minimum of 0.5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and industry standards.
- Experience with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus solutions, etc.
- Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and tools.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
- Robust problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications are a plus.
