Role Description This is a full-time, Cyber Security Intern role at CycloSec. The intern will assist in monitoring security alerts and logs, helping to identify and analyze potential threats across applications, networks, and information systems. Daily tasks include supporting incident investigations, documenting findings, and contributing to threat intelligence research under the guidance of senior security team members.

The intern will also help test and validate security controls, update internal documentation and playbooks,



and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve overall security posture.

Qualifications

- Foundational knowledge and interest in Cybersecurity and Cyber threat landscapes.
- Basic understanding of Network Security, including common protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection concepts.
- Exposure to Application Security principles such as secure coding practices and vulnerability identification.
- Awareness of Information Security fundamentals, including confidentiality, integrity, availability, and access control.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Ability to analyze data, follow structured procedures, and document technical findings clearly.
- Familiarity with security tools (e.g., SIEM, endpoint protection, vulnerability scanners) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced setting.
