Experience: 1–3 years in Shipping, NVOCC, Freight Forwarding or Logistics
Salary: ₹15,000–₹25,000 per month, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Handle customer enquiries and provide timely updates on shipments.
- Coordinate with Operations, Documentation, Pricing and Sales teams.
- Track vessel schedules, ETD/ETA, transshipment and container status.
- Share booking confirmations, SI/VGM status and shipment updates with customers.
- Follow up with shipping lines, agents and internal teams for operational requirements.
- Handle customer complaints and coordinate for timely resolution.
- Prepare and maintain customer reports, shipment trackers and follow-up records.
- Ensure accurate communication of freight, local charges and operational updates.
- Maintain professional communication through email and WhatsApp.
Preferred Skills
- Positive knowledge of Ocean Freight / NVOCC operations
- Good communication and customer-handling skills
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and email communication
- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments
- Tamil , English & Hindi communication skills will be an added advantage
- Candidates from Shipping / Logistics / Freight Forwarding background preferred.
