Company Description Updatrr is an AI-first SaaS platform for Shopify brands, focused on enabling seamless WhatsApp commerce. The product helps online merchants recover abandoned carts, confirm cash-on-delivery orders, and send real-time order and payment updates. Updatrr also offers AI chatbots, broadcast campaigns, and automation tools to improve conversion rates and win back lost revenue.

Team members collaborate closely with fast-growing e-commerce businesses and work with modern AI and messaging technologies that impact day-to-day operations and customer experiences.

Role Description The Customer Success Intern will support merchants using Updatrr by helping them set up and optimize WhatsApp commerce workflows, including abandoned cart recovery, COD confirmation, and order notification flows. Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to customer queries, troubleshooting basic product issues, documenting customer feedback, and coordinating with product and engineering teams to resolve recurring challenges. The intern will assist in onboarding new clients, preparing simple guides and FAQs, and tracking customer usage and satisfaction metrics.

on-site role based in Gurgaon, requiring close collaboration with the core team and hands-on learning in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

- Customer-facing experience or interest, with skills in Customer Support and Customer Service to assist merchants effectively.
- Strong Communication abilities, including clear written and verbal communication for explaining product features and documenting issues.
- Analytical Skills to understand customer behavior, interpret basic data, and suggest improvements to workflows and processes.
- Focus on Customer Satisfaction, with a proactive approach to resolving concerns and improving overall user experience.
- Ability to learn SaaS and e-commerce tools quickly; familiarity with Shopify or messaging platforms is a plus.
- Comfort working in a rapid-moving startup environment, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
