- Responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing, and maintaining medical instruments and equipment.
- Operate and monitor autoclaves, ETO/other sterilization equipment as per hospital protocols.
- Ensure proper packing, labeling, sterilization, and storage of sterile items.
- Maintain CSSD records, sterilization logs, and documentation.
- Follow infection control, safety, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with OT, ICU, and other clinical departments for timely supply of sterile instruments.
- Identify and report any sterilization or equipment-related issues.
Required Candidate Profile:
- Qualification: Diploma/Certificate in CSSD Technology or relevant healthcare qualification.
- Experience in CSSD/Sterilization department preferred.
- Knowledge of sterilization procedures and infection control practices.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
