Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Credit Processing Agent to manage end-to-end loan/credit application processing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in credit documentation, verification, and disbursement processes within a Bank or NBFC environment, along with a solid understanding of financial statements for credit assessment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process and review credit/loan applications for accuracy and completeness
- Verify KYC documents, income proofs, and other financial documentation
- Analyze financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L;, Cash Flow) to assess applicant's creditworthiness and repayment capacity
- Coordinate with credit underwriters, sales, and operations teams for smooth loan processing
- Ensure adherence to internal credit policies, RBI guidelines, and compliance norms
- Conduct pre-disbursement checks and validate credit bureau reports (CIBIL/Experian etc.)
- Maintain accurate records and update loan management systems (LMS)




- Handle query resolution related to loan processing with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure TAT (Turnaround Time) is met for credit file processing
- Coordinate with legal/technical teams for property or collateral-based loans (if applicable)

Required Skills:

- 23 years of relevant experience in credit processing/loan operations within a Bank or NBFC
- Working knowledge of Financial Statements (Balance Sheet, P&L; Account, Cash Flow Statement) and ability to interpret key financial ratios
- Strong knowledge of credit documentation and verification processes
- Familiarity with credit bureau reports and basic underwriting parameters
- Good understanding of compliance and regulatory norms in lending
- Proficient in MS Excel and loan processing software/LMS tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under TAT pressure
- Positive communication and coordination skills
- Reading & plotting financials from P&L;, Balance sheet, and Schedules in the required format.

Preferred:

- Experience in Retail Lending / Personal Loans / Home Loans / Business Loans / Vehicle Loans (mention specific product if relevant)
- Prior exposure to CBS or loan origination systems (LOS)
- Exposure to financial statement analysis for SME/Business Loan credit assessment
